The river flows for about 40 miles between Pichi Picun Leufu Dam and Exequiel Ramos Mexia Dam
Day 1: Reception at Chapelco Airport. Transfer to Piedra del Aguila and accomodation
Day 2: Transfer to the river. Floating First section (approx. 6 miles). At night, asado (Argentinian BBQ)at camp area
Day 3 to 5: Floating Second to fourth section with camp at nights
Day 6: Floating Fifth section, take out at 17:00 hs and transfer to San Martin de los Andes. Accomodation at Hotel
Day 7: Transfer to Chapelco Airport


Day 1: Arrival to airport and transfer to hotel. Accomodation, lunch and short float the Chimehuín river .
Day 2: Floating upper Caleufu with lunch at river shore. Camp at night.
Day 3: Floating lower Caleufu section, lunch and take out at 18:00 hs transfer to San Martin de los Andes. Accomodation at Hotel
Day 4: Wading Malleo river with lunch at the shore
Day 5: Floating Alumine river from Malleo to Rinconada with lunch at shore (10 miles approx.)
Day 6: Fishing Escondido lake (dry flies). Lunch at beach
Day 7: Transfer to Chapelco Airport

Fishing season is spring - summer. Temperatures range between 40F and 80F. Dont forget your rain coat, sunglasses and hat

It will include:
1) Bilingual guides (spanish-english).

beer and soft drinks).

Day 6: Floating Alumine river second section or Spring Creek fishing.
Day 7: Transfer to Chapelco Airport

We also offer One Day programs in Bariloche or Villa la Angostura such as:
fly fishing Pichi Leúfu river, Limay River upper section, Espejo lake
It will not include:
1) Transfers from Buenos Aires to Bariloche or San Martin de los Andes.
2) Individual Fly-fishing and wading gear.
